With this geo campaign, McDonald’s used the Gelbe Seiten app to promote its own coupon app in the vicinity of McDonald’s restaurants, pushing both its instalment base and visits to McDonald’s restaurants. At the same time, Bitplaces tracked conversion rates by monitoring reading rates of the location-based messages as well as resulting visits to the restaurants.

Results:
